Adding text to your video is a great way to include titles, names, or key messages. In elevate.io, placing and customizing text is quick and beginner-friendly.

  1. Add text onto the timeline

You can easily add text to your video by selecting the T on the right-hand side, above the timeline. Your new text block can be controlled from the right-hand side editing panel. Let's take a quick tour of your options.

  1. Customize text

In the text window, add what you want to write. From there, you have options to change fonts, as well as font size, text alignment, line height, letter spacing, and text color - including the use of a color picker. You can also adjust the position, use the scale controls to fine tune the size, adjust opacity and adjust rotation by value. You'll also find all your familiar alignment tools if you want to snap your text into particular positions.

Text blocks can be cut and trimmed just like any other clip on your timeline so you can easily and precisely set the duration.
