How to use video editing transform tools
The Transform tools in elevate.io give you full control over the size, position, and layout of your clips. Let's go through those real quick.
Select a clip and head to the Video tab
To get started, click on a video clip in your timeline and go to the Video tab on the right side of the editor. This is where all the Transform controls live.
Adjust your video with Transform tools

Here's a quick rundown of what you can do:
Scale - Resize your clip by adjusting the scale slider
Fit and fill - ‘Fit’ ensures the largest dimension of your clip is positioned perfectly within the frame without cropping, while ‘fill’ ensures that the entire frame is filled with your media which may result in some cropped edges.
Opacity - Adjust to make a clip more transparent for editing tricks like overlays.
Rotate and flip - Rotate clips in 90° increments and flip on the horizontal or vertical axis.
Crop - By default, the controls will crop both of the X or both of the Y edges at the same time but if you click the small square in the corner of the transform functions, you can separate out the top, bottom, left and right crops.
Align - Useful for making multi panel layouts. For example, set your clip to 50% scale. Then use align left and align top to position it in the upper-left quadrant. Repeat this for three more clips, using other align options (right, bottom, center) to build a 4-way split screen quadrant.
