How to easily resize, crop, and move elements in a video
To resize, crop, or move an element, select any element in the preview window - a clip, text, or shape - and you’ll see a blue outline appear around it. This is your boundary box.

Resizing
To resize your element, click the white squares in the corner and drag outwards to make it bigger, or inwards to make it smaller.

Pro tip: Hold Shift
while resizing, and you can stretch, squish, or warp it however you like.
Repositioning
To reposition your element, click and hold anywhere inside the boundary box of that element, then drag to move it around the preview window.
You’ll notice some yellow lines popping up. Those are snapping guides to help you align your elements to other layers or screen centers.

Pro tip: Hold Command
while dragging, and your element will no longer be bound by the yellow snapping guides.
Cropping
To crop, grab one of the edges of the element and drag it inwards.

Pro tip: Hold Shift + Command
while dragging to crop from both sides at the same time, creating a symmetrical crop.
Adjust generators
You can use the same tricks to stylize your text or shapes:
For example, customize your text by holding Shift
to make it taller, shorter, more squashed, or elongated.

Stretch a square into a rectangle, or crop a circle into… well, a slightly less circular circle.

On-screen controls make everything faster and easier, giving you total creative freedom right in the preview window.
